AI tools change quickly, and sales pages for them often promise more than any software can deliver. Our AI tool reviews focus on what you can verify before you pay: what the tool actually does, how it is priced (one-time, subscription or credits), whether there is a trial or refund window, what licence you get for client or commercial work, and what happens to the data you upload.

How we assess AI tools

  • Pricing model: one-time licences, subscriptions and AI credit limits can change the real cost a lot.
  • Trial and refunds: we note whether you can try before you buy and the stated refund period.
  • Output and limits: resolution, formats, languages and any caps on usage.
  • Licence: whether commercial use is clearly allowed.
  • Marketing claims: we flag income promises, because software alone cannot guarantee earnings.

We describe what sellers state and what research says about the wider category; we do not imply hands-on testing unless we say so.
