Editorial Policy

This policy explains how Noki Lifestyle chooses, researches, writes and updates its reviews and guides.

How we choose products

We cover products that our readers are likely to come across, including products sold through affiliate programmes such as ClickBank. Being an affiliate product does not guarantee a positive review, and we publish critical verdicts where the evidence calls for them. Some products are held back from publication, for example when a seller requires approval of our materials first.

How we research

  • We start from the official product page and, where available, the full label or feature list, and we record the date we checked it.
  • We compare claims with independent sources: systematic reviews and trials indexed on PubMed, and UK guidance from the NHS, NICE, the MHRA and GOV.UK.
  • We do not use universities, institutions or individuals as a badge of authority, and we do not invent experts, quotes or credentials.
  • Unless an article says otherwise, our reviews are research-based: we have not bought, used or tested the product, and we never imply that we have.

Our standards

  • No fake reviews, testimonials, star ratings, test results or discounts.
  • Prices are shown only as listed on the official page, with the date checked.
  • Health content separates ingredients, seller claims, evidence and uncertainty, and signposts to a GP, pharmacist or other professional.
  • Money and mindset content never promises financial outcomes.
  • Seller testimonials are not repeated as evidence.

Some links are affiliate links, marked “(affiliate link)” and tagged rel=”sponsored”. We may earn a commission if you buy, at no extra cost to you. Commission never decides a verdict. See our affiliate disclosure.

Fact-checking

Every published article lists its sources. Before publication we check each factual statement (prices, ingredients, doses, study findings and guidance) against those sources and keep an internal fact-check record for each article.

Use of AI

We use AI tools to help with research organisation, drafting and image creation. Drafts are checked against the cited sources and these standards before publication, and the Noki Lifestyle team is responsible for everything we publish. Images on our reviews are illustrative and created for the article; they are not product photos and do not show real results.

Updates

We review articles when products, prices or guidance change, and show both the published and updated dates. Significant changes are noted under our corrections policy.
