Quick verdict
TedsWoodworking is a large online library of woodworking plans sold for a one-time payment through ClickBank. The seller says it holds over 16,000 plans with step-by-step instructions, schematics, cutting lists and materials lists, plus video lessons and new plans added each month. For a beginner or hobbyist who wants plenty of project ideas in one place, that breadth is the main appeal. The cautions are the sales page itself, which leans on urgency and a countdown, and the fact that the plans are written for a US audience, so measurements are mostly imperial and timber sizes are American. If you are comfortable converting sizes and you want variety more than polish, it is worth a look; if you want a single, carefully designed project, one well-reviewed individual plan may suit you better.

What is TedsWoodworking?
TedsWoodworking is a collection of woodworking plans that you access through an online members area after a single payment. According to the official offer page, the package includes more than 16,000 plans covering furniture, outdoor projects, storage, toys and small crafts, each with step-by-step instructions and drawings. The seller also lists around 150 video classes on techniques and project builds, monthly plan releases and the option to request a plan you cannot find.
The product is sold through ClickBank, which acts as the retailer and handles payment and refunds. That matters for UK buyers: your bank statement shows a ClickBank charge, and refund requests can go through ClickBank as well as through the seller.
This review is based on the official landing page, offer page and support page (all checked on 30 October 2026) and UK guidance on woodworking safety. We have not bought or used TedsWoodworking ourselves, so we describe what the seller says the package contains, separate what we could check from what we could not, and point out the gaps.
What the seller says is included
- The plan library: over 16,000 plans with instructions, schematics and cutting and materials lists, according to the seller.
- Video lessons: about 150 video classes on techniques and builds.
- Monthly plans: new plans released each month, included for life with this offer, per the seller.
- Plan requests: the seller says members can ask for a plan that is not in the library.
- Bonuses: several extra guides are bundled. The page gives each a “value”, but those are the seller’s own figures, not market prices.
- Physical copies: optional DVDs or a USB drive, shipped worldwide for an additional fee.
The seller also offers 50 free sample plans and a sample book in exchange for an email address. If you are unsure, that is a sensible way to judge the drawing style before paying.
Pros and cons
Pros
- A one-time price for a very large library, with no subscription on this offer
- Wide range of project sizes, from small gifts to garden furniture
- Free sample plans let you check the style before buying
- 60-day money-back guarantee, with ClickBank as the retailer
- Video lessons help if you learn better by watching
Cons
- Written for the US: imperial measurements and American timber sizes such as “2×4”
- Sales page relies on urgency and a countdown, so ignore the pressure
- Quality may vary across such a large library; we could not check every plan
- Extra paid add-ons are offered at checkout
- Claims that every plan was physically built are the seller’s own and cannot be verified
What UK buyers should know
Most of the plans use imperial measurements. In the UK, timber is sold in metric sizes, and the nominal “2×4” in an American plan is not the same as a UK 47 x 100 mm length. Before you cut anything, convert the cutting list, check the actual sizes at your merchant and allow for small differences in the joinery.
If a plan is for a garden building, check planning rules first. The Planning Portal says outbuildings are usually permitted development within limits, for example a maximum overall height of 2.5 metres if the building is within 2 metres of a boundary. Rules differ for listed buildings and designated land, so check with your local planning authority if you are unsure.
Safety is the other big point. The Health and Safety Executive’s woodworking guidance covers machinery guarding, wood dust and noise. A plan cannot teach safe use of a table saw or router, so learn each tool properly before you start, and wear eye, ear and dust protection.
Who it suits (and who it does not)
TedsWoodworking looks best suited to hobbyists who enjoy browsing for their next project and want a lot of choice for one price. It is less suited to people who want one carefully tested design with metric drawings, or to complete beginners who have not yet learned basic tool safety. If you only ever plan to build one or two things, a single good plan or a library book may be better value.
Price and value
On 30 October 2026 the offer page showed $67 as a one-time payment, and the UK checkout showed £55.62. The page also describes a $39 a month membership as the standard option and says the one-time price may end. We cannot verify how long the one-time price will last, so do not let a countdown rush your decision. Check the price, the currency and any add-ons on the order form before you pay.
Alternatives worth comparing
- Your local library: woodworking project books, often with metric measurements, at no cost.
- Individual plans: many independent designers sell single, well-documented plans, which can suit a one-off project.
- Free plans from timber merchants and tool makers: many publish simple project guides.
We have not compared these options hands-on. Check what is included and the measurement system before you choose.
Our verdict
TedsWoodworking offers a lot of material for a one-time price and a clear 60-day guarantee. Its value depends on whether you will actually use a large library and whether you are happy converting US measurements. Ignore the urgency on the sales page, try the free sample plans first, and buy only if the drawing style suits you.

Frequently asked questions
Is TedsWoodworking a subscription?
Not on the offer page we checked. It was listed as a $67 one-time payment for lifetime access, with no recurring fees. The seller says a $39 a month membership also exists.
Can I get a refund?
The official page and support page state a 60-day money-back guarantee. ClickBank is the retailer, so you can also ask ClickBank for a refund within that window.
Are the plans in metric?
The plans are written for a US audience and mostly use imperial measurements and American timber sizes. UK buyers will need to convert them.
Do I get physical copies?
The standard purchase is digital. The seller offers DVDs or a USB drive for an additional fee.
Is it suitable for complete beginners?
Many projects are simple, but no plan replaces learning to use tools safely. Start with small projects and follow HSE guidance on machinery and dust.
Conclusion
If you want a broad library of project ideas for one payment, TedsWoodworking is a reasonable option to consider. Try the free samples, convert measurements carefully, check planning rules for garden buildings, and treat the urgency on the sales page with healthy scepticism.
